Located
at 233 Main Street, the Hornell
Children's Home has provided care to Hornell's less fortunate children
since it's dedication in 1917.
In 1967, the Hornell Children's Home was changed to a Daycare Center to meet the changing needs of the community. To honor it's history, two previous residents of the home, Carolyn Horton Oram and Richard Goodsell, put forth an extensive amount of time and effort compiling a photo presentation of the home. This was their way of saying "thank you" to a place that gave them a home when they needed one. |

The photo presentation CD compiled by Carolyn and Richard is currently available, for a small donation, at the Children's Day Care Center, 233 Main Street, Hornell, or by contacting the Center's Director, Bobbi Schwartz, at (607) 324-7131. The CD may also be viewed at the Hornell Public Library! All donations received will be used in the future operation of the current HCH Daycare Center. |

The following presentation represents just a small insight to what is contained on the CD. Order your personal copy of this historical CD and support the Center with your donation! |
