A Special Tribute From a Close Friend

Bob was my best friend through Junior and Senior High School. We were practically inseparable for a time. You could find us cooking bacon on a solar oven we built from cardboard or zipping around the Bryant school (Bob) or Columbian school (me) neighborhoods on the 3-wheel go-cart we built from scratch.

Bob was consummate photographer; taking, developing and enlarging pictures in his Myrtle Street attic loft. He took pictures for the HHS yearbook and other events. He also applied those talents while employed at the Hornell/Canisteo Penny Saver where he put the paper together each week as an after school job. He went on to apply his talents in the service of his Country in the US Air Force.

If memory serves, Bob graduated in 1970, but stayed on as a post grad through 1971 (my class year). Bob deserves a mention in "In memoriam."
