V. Louise (Donaldson) Vogt

 

HORNELL - V. Louise Vogt 61, of 326 Canisteo Street. died Tuesday Oct. 5th 1993 at Rochester General, following a brief illness.

Born in Hornell on Nov 23, 1931, she was a daughter of Thomas and Vera (Mather) Donaldson. Louise spent her entire life in Hornell and was graduate of Hornell High school, Class of 1949. She was a member of the Women's Republican Committee and served as 10th Ward Alderwomen from 1981 to 1989. She was currently seeking re-election to the post. 

Together with her husband, Francis, they operated Vogt Photography Studio from their home for 25 yrs.  A communicant of St Ignatious Loyola Church, Louise was the first person to be baptized in that church. 

Louise is survived by four daughters, Helen (Lyle) Layman of Olean, Juliana (Chris) Feenaughty of Hornell, Victoria Vogt of Canisteo, Sarah (Ronald) Horton, of Hornell, five Sons, Michael (Jackie) of Hammondsport, Patrick (Joan), of Canaseraga, Martin (Cindy), of Thacherville, Jaime Vogt of Hornell, Thomas Vogt, and nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
