MARY LOU PATTON

ALFRED STATION - Mary Lou Patton, 69, of 6592 State Route 21, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (June 24, 2009) at St. James Mercy Hospital.


Born in Hornell, July 11, 1939, the daughter of Ludwig and Irene Carrie Pauly, she had been a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Hornell High School, Class of 1957. Mary Lou had attended the Canisteo Valley Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed Christian TV, reading and scrap-booking. 


She was predeceased by her former husband, David K. Jimerson in February of 2008; her son, Jeffrey Jimerson in 1990; and her brother, Louie Pauly.


She is survived by her three sons, Kenneth Jimerson (fiancÚ Eileen Lowery) of Pennsylvania, Michael (Lari) Jimerson of Clay, and David Jimerson of Alfred Station; three sisters, Helen (Gerald) Persichilli of Hornell, Linda (Earl) Moore of Pennsylvania, and Nancy (Chuck) Curran of Hornell; brother, Bill (Betty) Pauly of Hornell; sister-in-law, Virginia Pauly of Hornell; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.


The family will be present from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St., Hornell, where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Mathew Sassano officiating. Burial will be in Hornell Rural Cemetery.
