INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA  -  Ruth A. Hoagland, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away January 9, 2008. Ruth was born November 18, 1914 in Hornell, New York to Paul S. and Mildred Martindale Button. She was a homemaker. Ruth attended church at Berkshire Retirement Community. Visitation will be held Friday, January 11, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., with services Saturday, at 12:00 p.m. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (William) Bennett; son, Dale (Nancy) Hoagland; daughter-in-law, Meredith Ross; brother, Robert Button; sister, Edith Gardiner; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley R. Hoagland; sons, Paul R. Hoagland, John S. Hoagland and her sister, Dorothy Daly.
