NORTH HORNELL - Ellen R. Webster, 48, of 5 Avondale Ave., entered into eternal life early Sunday afternoon (May 28, 2006) at St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell.

Born in Wellsville on Dec. 28, 1957, she was a daughter of Arthur Jr. and Elizabeth Gardner Foreman, who survive.

A graduate of Hornell High School, class of 1976, Ellen was also a graduate of the Continental Beauty School in Rochester. A former resident of Mechanicsburg, Pa., she resided in Hornell for most of her life.

She was employed as a beautician at the Tres Chic Beauty Salon in Hornell before beginning her second career of caring for animals at the Westshore Animal Hospital in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

Besides her love of animals, Ellen enjoyed cooking and doing various arts and crafts.

She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Hornell.

Her family includes her parents, Arthur and Elizabeth Foreman; her daughter, Margaret Webster of North Hornell; her three sisters, Carol Foreman of Poughkeepsie, Martha (William) Mostyn of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mary (Thomas) Dugo of Elmira; her brother, Dr. Thomas (Mary Jo) Foreman of Hornell; her nieces and nephews, Thomas, Derek and Erin Foreman, Lindsay Butler, and Emily and Julia Foreman; her two aunts, Rita Foreman of Hornell and June Foreman of Angelica; also several cousins.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Margaret and Burdette Gardner, and Arthur Sr. and Viola Foreman.

There will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to meet her family at Christ Episcopal Church, where a Requiem Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1, with the Rev. Philip Kuhn officiating. Interment will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
